"Man in the Spangled Pants" by Joe Stockdale, published in April by Priscilla Press Publications, specialists in Michigan history, is a 287 page biography of Jack P. Ragotzy which includes his New York theatre career as well as the history of the first 50 years (1946 - 1995) of the Barn Theatre. The book has over 200 pictures, 150 pages of text, program copy for all 409 productions plus a forward and an index. If you are interested in ordering a copy, please send a check made out to the Barn Theatre, for $37.50 ($29.95 for the book plus postage ($5.50), 6% Michigan sales tax, $1.79, and the cost of packing materials for shipment) to Penelope Ragotzy, The Barn Theatre, PO Box 445, Augusta, MI 49012. Cost of the book if purchased at The Barn will be $31.75 (including tax). All profits from the sale of this book will go to the Barn Theatre's Educational Fund.
