ALSTON BROWN, 3rd year
Alston is beyond elated to be joining the Barn Theatre family for a third summer season! A native of Atlanta, GA, Alston is a 2005 graduate of the Valdosta State University Theatre program, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance. Alston’s appearances on the Barn stage include Benjamin in THE GRADUATE, Dr. Lyman Hall in 1776, Yonkers in GYPSY, and Nikko the Flying Monkey in THE WIZARD OF OZ. Other credits include ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST, THE VISIT, MACBETH, WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOLF? CHILDREN OF EDEN, and THE PAJAMA GAME. Alston was recently involved with the Off-Broadway production of ARMED AND NAKED IN AMERICA, appearing in David Rabe’s THE EARLIEST USES OF SPIN. Alston currently lives in New York City and wishes to thank his very dear friends and family for their continued love and support. |

JAMEY GRISHAM, 3rd year (also Rehearsal Shed Pianist/Bar Show Music Director)
Jamey hails from Tupelo, MS, and is a recent graduate of Roosevelt University in Chicago with a BFA in Musical Theatre from their Chicago College of Performing Arts Theatre conservatory. Jamey is excited for a third Barn summer! Audiences may remember his turns as Brad in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, Ethan in THE FULL MONTY, Thomas Jefferson in 1776 and Dream Curly in OKLAHOMA! His Roosevelt credits include Bill in KISS ME KATE, Valentine in the musical TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA and John Jasper in THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD. Jamey also recently originated the role of Little Light in the original workshop production of THE LITTLEST LIGHT ON THE CHRISTMAS TREE in New York, which was directed by Broadway veteran Luis Perez and produced by APAP (Association of Performing Arts Presenters). He shared the stage with cabaret star Andrea Marcovicci and composer John Bucchino in the ASCAP presentation SONGS OF OUR TIME in Chicago and has been a featured soloist at Jim Caruso’s CAST PARTY in New York. NICK HORTON, 3rd year
Nick is happy to be back at the Barn for his third season. Barn audiences may remember him from last season’s portrayal of Roger Sherman in 1776, Cigar in GYPSY or as the dead body in OUT OF ORDER, as well as Perchik in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and in ensemble roles in THE WIZARD OF OZ, THE FULL MONTY, HAIR, and LIL ABNER. Nick was most recently seen in TEN LITTLE INDIANS as Anthony Marston and as Young Scrooge in A CHRISTMAS CAROL at Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre in Indianapolis. Nick is a graduate of Kent State University where he received a BFA in Musical Theatre.

JAKE STACKHOUSE, 3rd year
Jake is thrilled to be back for a third summer. Augusta audiences may remember Jake from such performances as Earthquake McGoon in LI’L ABNER, Andrew Carnes in OKLAHOMA!, Col. McKean in 1776, and Kringelein in GYPSY. When not at the Barn Jake lives in New York City with former Barnie Bethany Wood. Jake is a graduate of Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne.

RYAN STUTZ, 3rd year
Ryan is so happy to be back for his third season! Previously on the Barn stage Ryan played the title role in BAT BOY: THE MUSICAL and Woof in HAIR as well as having featured roles in many other shows. Last summer he portrayed George Gibbs in OUR TOWN at Porthouse Theatre. A recent graduate from Ball State University, he was seen in many shows including THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE as Jimmy, A NEW BRAIN as Gordon and THE MUSICAL OF MUSICALS: THE MUSICAL as Jidder. Ryan plans on making the big move to NYC this winter. Ryan sends, “A big thank you to my family, especially my moms! You’ve always been there to support me! JEFF BAKER, 2nd year
If you only knew how excited Jeff is to be back this summer! Past Barn credits include OKLAHOMA!, 1776, GYPSY, and THE WIZARD OF OZ. A senior at Grand Valley State University, Jeff has appeared in GUYS AND DOLLS (Benny Southstreet), STREET SCENE (Harry Easter), STARTING HERE, STARTING NOW (Man), THE SECRET GARDEN (Dikon understudy), and PIRATES OF PENZANCE (Pirate King) as well as MY FAIR LADY AT Circle Theatre and ASSASSINS at Actors Theatre. “Love and thanks to Mom, Alexis, Dale and my beautiful friends.”

COURTNEY REED, 2nd year
Courtney is overjoyed to be returning to Augusta for her second season at the Barn. She is originally from Centreville, Virginia and just recently graduated from Wright State University in Dayton. At WSU Courtney was seen as Texas in CABARET, Hymen in AS YOU LIKE IT, Sleeping Beauty in INTO THE WOODS, as an ensemble member in AIDA, GREASE, RAGTIME, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, NINE and URINETOWN in which she was also the associate choreographer. Barn audiences will undoubtedly remember Courtney as Martha Jefferson in 1776 as well as in the ensemble of GYPSY and THE WIZARD OF OZ. ERIC BYRD
Eric recently completed his sophomore year in Wright State University’s Professional Acting Training Program. University credits include Sonny in GREASE, Francesco in THE GONDOLIERS ensemble roles in URINETOWN, AIDA, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN and RAGTIME. Previous credits include 42ND STREET, SMOKEY JOE’S CAFÉ, ANYTHING GOES, MUSIC MAN and ONCE UPON A MATTRESS. He also performed for three seasons at Paramount King’s Island in Cincinnati OH, and also worked as a line dance instructor and DJ at the world famous Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, Tennessee. Eric wishes to thank his family, friends and faculty for their constant support!

Jason is thrilled to be making his debut at the Barn this summer. Coming all the way from Massachusetts, he is happy to have just graduated from Rhode Island College, where he received his BA in Musical Theatre Performance. During his college years Jason was able to perform in such shows as DAMN YANKEES, THE AMERICAN DREAM, SWEET CHARITY, THE WHO’S TOMMY, RED, HOT & COLE, EXECUTION OF JUSTICE, and THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE. STEPHANIE CAPLIN
Stephanie is ecstatic to be making her Barn debut this summer. Stephanie just graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, her hometown, where she studied Theatre and Dance. Recent credits include Rosalia in WEST SIDE STORY, Shaindel in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Mary/Leata in HAIR, Wendy Jo in FOOTLOOSE, and ensemble roles in JOSEPH…, PAJAMA GAME, and ONCE UPON A MATTRESS. Stephanie has been dancing and performing since she could walk and is delighted to be performing at the Barn before her big move to NYC. Stephanie sends her love to friends and family and sends a special thank you to her mom, dad, and her nana: her biggest fans, for all their love and support as she chases her dream.

ELIZABETH ANN CORKUM
Miss Corkum is delighted to be making her Barn Theatre debut. Holding a Bachelors of Music in Music Theatre from Westminster Choir College, one of the highlights of her career thus far was singing with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra as a member of the Westminster Symphonic Choir. Some favorite roles include Cinderella in CINDERELLA, Beauty in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and Joanne in GODSPELL. TV/Film credits include: “Law & Order”, “Lipstick Jungle”, and “Cover”. Elizabeth has also performed at Quisisana Resort in Maine, Granbury Opera House and Galveston Island Musicals in Texas and Odette’s in Pennsylvania. Elizabeth thanks her friends, family and her wonderful new husband for their love and support!

BO FRAZIER
Bo is pumped to be making his Barn debut this summer. Having just completed his freshman year at Millikin University, Bo was seen in THE CRUCIBLE and the original workshop production about AIDS awareness entitled (RED). As an Indianapolis native, he has been performing since the age of 9. Favorite roles include Nicely, Nicely in GUYS AND DOLLS, Mushnik in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Pharoah in AIDA, and Joe Zutty in WORKING. Bo was also an ensemble member in BROADWAY’S LEADING MEN which starred New York performers Robert Evan and Ashley Brown with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. First and foremost, Bo would like to thank Sally Cook for her undying love and support, the Ragotzys for the opportunity, Marissa, Ty and his grandparents.

DANA JOY GLAUS
Dana is so happy to be a member of the Barn’s 2007 company. Entering her junior year at Kent State University, Dana is majoring in musical theater and minoring in dance. Last summer she performed at the Porthouse Theater in Ohio in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. Most recently Dana was seen as Angela in HAIR at Kent. Other roles include Frenchie in CABARET and the Musical Hall Singer in VIOLET. Dana wants to thank her family and friends who have supported her and her fellow classmates and mentors who have taught her so much.

Emmi is so happy to be making her debut as a Barnie! She will be entering her senior year at Northwestern University, where she is studying Theatre and Mathematics. Favorite credits include THE GAME OF LOVE AND CHANCE and “The Scottish Play” which she performed at Northwestern, THE BACCHAI at Indiana University, Emily in OUR TOWN, and Catherine in THE FOREIGNER at the Shawnee Summer Theatre. Emmi is from Grand Rapids, MI, where selected credits include RAGTIME, FOLLIES, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, and THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK. Emmi send her love to her family for always being there.

Coming all the way from Southern California, Isaac James is elated to be spending the summer at the Barn. For the past two years Isaac has studied musical theatre and vocal performance in the Citrus Singer program at Citrus College under the guidance of fellow Barnie Doug Austin (1986). Isaac’s latest credits included the Beast in Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. He is extremely excited to see what it takes to be called a “Barnie” this summer! MALLORY LANE
Mallory is so pleased to be here at the Barn this summer. She recently completed her junior year at Trinity University in San Antonio Texas as a Drama and Speech major. College roles include Myra in HAY FEVER, Phocion in TRIUMPH OF LOVE and most recently the Madwoman in THE MADWOMAN OF CHAILLOT. Mallory has spent the last three summers at The Stage Door Workshop in Pennsylvania where she taught speech classes and musically directed numerous children’s productions. Justin is thrilled to be joining the Barn this summer! He has worked at numerous theatre companies including the MUNY and Stages! in St. Louis, New Line Theatre, Gallery 37, Midwest Lyric Opera and Curtain Call Players. Favorite shows in clued THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS, MISS SAIGON, GODSPELL, THE FANTASTICKS, THE SECRET GARDEN, PHANTOM, MAME and TREASURE ISLAND. Justin is a recent graduate of Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts Theatre Conservatory where he received a BFA in Musical Theatre.

MEGAN MacPHEE
Megan MacPhee is excited to be in the Midwest making her Barn debut. Hailing from Maplewood, NJ, she has just completed a semester abroad studying at the London Dramatic Academy. Megan will be entering her senior year as a musical theatre major at Catholic University of American in Washington, DC. Last spring she traveled to the Czech Republic with CUA’s University Chorus to sing Verdi’s Requiem in the Prague Spring Festival. Professional credits include the female swing for Signature Theatre’s MY FAIR LADY directed by Eric Schaeffer starring Broadway’s Sally Murphy and THE SEX HABITS OF AMERICAN WOMEN in which she portrayed Katie, NEVERMORE as Virginia, ASSASSINS as Squeaky/Ensemble u/s. She also performed at Papermill Playhouse in JOSEPH….., and the New Voices Concert 2004. Megan thanks her family, Penelope, and everyone at the Barn for this opportunity!

He was also a part of the world premier of Brett Boles’ musical THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO as an Ensemble member and understudied the role of Edmond Dantes. Professional credits, based in Eric’s hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, include Joe Hardy in DAMN YANKEES, Matt in THE FANTASTICKS, Rolf in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, the Tinman in THE WIZARD OF OZ, and Patric in the regional premier of Keith Thompson’s KOOKY TUNES. Kelsey grew up just across the county line in Battle Creek, MI! Kelsey attends Cedarville University in Ohio where she will begin her senior year as a Theatre Arts Performance major. Some of her favorite roles include Puck in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, Terri in BABES IN ARMS, Patti in YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN, and Beline in THE IMAGINARY INVALID. She is also passionate about directing, and was thrilled to have had the privilege of directing OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS at Cedarville. VAUGHN SCHMIDT
Vaughn is a graduate of Mercyhurst Prep in Erie Pennsylvania. While there he performed in 14 mainstage productions, including PIRATES OF PENZANCE in which he portrayed Frederic, as well as the Narrator in BLOOD BROTHERS, and the dual roles of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in JEKYLL AND HYDE. He later found his way to Youngstown State University where he is currently majoring in Musical Theatre. Vaughn performed as Mr. Nickles in J.B. and Joe in LOVE OF A PIG among others. This marks Vaughn’s first summer stock experience. He is very excited about this opportunity and wishes all of his fellow actors to ‘Break a Leg’ while here at the Barn.

Katherine is elated to be spending her first summer at the Barn. A native of Houston Texas, Katherine is a recent graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and is currently attending the New School University in New York. She recently toured with Periwinkle National Theatre as Karen HALFWAY THERE. And was an ensemble member in HAPPY HOUSE at Big Little Theatre in New York City.

KEVIN WHITE
Kevin couldn’t be happier to be making his Barn debut this summer. Kevin will be a Junior BFA Musical Theatre major at Millikin University this fall. On the Millikin mainstage Kevin has enjoyed roles in THE BAKER’S WIFE, SUGAR, LUCKY STIFF as Harry Witherspoon, and A CHORUS LINE in which he portrayed Mike. Other professional credits include Will Parker in OKLAHOMA!, Simon Zealotes in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and Wickersham Brother #1 in SEUSSICAL, THE MUSICAL all at the Starlight Theatre in Rockford, IL. Kevin thanks his grandparents for their hospitality this summer, his parents for always supporting him and the Barn for this great opportunity.
