Alston Brown (Barnie 2005, 2006, 2007) was just cast in the Warner Brothers feature film OBSERVE AND REPORT starring Seth Rogen, due to be released in 2009 . Alston will be featured as "Bruce" and will begin filming in May!

Barnies Roy Brown (1998, 1999, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007) and Emily May Smith (2002, 2003, 2007) were married in Hawaii on April 23, 2008! The Ragotzys and the entire Barn family send them many blessings as they begin their married life together! !

Jamey Grisham (Barnie 2005, 2006, 2007) is in two shows playing in repertory at the Lyric Opera of Chicago! Jamey is in the ensembles of The Barber of Seville February 16 - March 22 and Eugene Onegin March 1-30 in which he is also understudying the role of Guillot. Robin Haynes (Barnie 75-77, 96, 98-2002), Son of Associate Producer Dusty Reeds and John Newton, Robin is on the Cameron Mackintosh national tour of MY FAIR LADY in which he is a very busy ensemble member and also understudies Professor Higgins. The reviews in England said this production was the definitive production against which all others would be compared! Barn audiences will undoubtedly remember Robin from many memorable roles including Georges in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, the Narrator in BLOOD BROTHERS starring Kim Zimmer as well as MY FAIR LADY in which he portrayed Professor Higgins. Lisa Marie Morabito (Barnie 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007) recently joined the cast of MAMMA MIA! in Las Vegas! She is an Ensemble member and understudies the role of Lisa. Lisa will remain with the Las Vegas company until August of 2008.

John Newton (Barnie 1954-60, 64, 65, 72, 95, 2001, 2006) is at Goodspeed Opera House playing Stephen Hopkins in 1776. The show opened September 28 and plays through December 2. No stranger to the show, Mr. Newton was most recently seen in the Barn’s glorious production of 1776 in which he portrayed Benjamin Franklin. Eric Parker (1992-95, 97-2007) just recently shot a commercial for Behavioral Health Resources in which he hilariously portrayed a vampire....keep a look out for Eric from now to Halloween!

Eric Petersen (Barnie 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007) will be on CBS’s AS THE WORLD TURNS in which he portrays a not-so-nice “Santa”. We are told his episodes will air November 27th!!! Tune in and find out! Eric has spent many seasons recently at the Barn where he charmed audiences with fantastic performances. Highlights of last season include Johnny Molano in OLD TIMER, Franz Leibkind in THE PRODUCERS and Stromboli in GEPPETTO AND SON.

Penelope Alex and Jacob Ragotzy will be on the radio air waves soon as they have just recorded a commercial spot together for ‘SHIPSHEWANA ON THE ROAD’! This was Jake’s first commercial and mother and son were beyond thrilled to work together – it seemed like much more fun than work! Penelope can also be seen in a Behavorial Health Resources commercial in which the character is getting her hair done and chatting away about her life.
