TWO WEEKS ONLY! July 15 - July 27

(Augusta, MI) The Barn Theatre is proud to present ANNIE, everyone's favorite orphan! "This is always a Barn favorite with our audiences," states producer Jack Ragotzy, "So we decided to put it into our 2003 Season." "We have a great Annie and orphans along with a wonderful cast this year," states fellow producer, Brendan Ragotzy.

Annie

ANNIE HAS IT ALL!

Annie lives "The Hard Knock Life" in an orphanage run by the less-than-kind Miss Hannigan, played by Chicago actress, Iris Lieberman, but Annie escapes to an easier life outside. The story takes place during Great Depression, when "Tomorrow" promises to be brighter because of hope and a certain stray dog, Sandy, who tags along for the fun. When Annie is separated from Sandy and returned to the orphanage she escapes again, this time on the arm of a billionaire's secretary. Daddy Warbucks, played by Barn Theatre audience favorite, Joe Aiello, wants to entertain an orphan for Christmas. Annie charms Warbucks, F.D.R., the U.S. Cabinet and an entire country! All ends happily when she is adopted by Warbucks and reunited with Sandy.

ANNIE IS SINGING, DANCING AND TUNES TO HUM ALL THE WAY HOME!

The set is designed by Richard L. Haptonstall, the lighting is designed by Monique R. Norman and the costume design is by Judy Kazy-Garey. Sound is being designed by James Stephenson.

The Barn Theatre is located on M-96 West of Augusta. Performances are Tuesday through Friday at 8:30 PM, Saturday at 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, and Sunday at 5:00 PM. Tickets are $25.00, Tuesday through Thursday and $27.50, Friday through Sunday. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. For tickets call (269) 731-4121. The box office is open daily from 10:00AM-10:00 PM.
